Today, all students, PreK through 8, gathered for the Rosary, Mass, and reception of ashes with fellow St. Peter parishioners. The students were well behaved and sang beautifully. We received many compliments!
Students in the Spanish club having fun using Pictionary air to draw vocabulary words in Spanish and try to have their teammates guess what they are drawing. Answers only count if given in Spanish!

St. Bianca, longtime religious sister of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary explains the joys of being a pen pal. SPS well be launching our pen pal partnership between 3rd graders and St. Peter Seniors.
8th graders, especially Honors Lit students, have read a several classics thus far this year. In the fall, all 8th graders read, analyzed and discussed Twain's Tom Sawyer. They also created a fabulous movie trailer!

Ever wonder what it would be like to live in a Hobbit Hole? Well, I have and I would like to hire future engineer, 8th grade Michelle Lu, to design one for my retirement, based on her model! She also built a replica of Tolkien's the Lonely Mountain in the Hobbit!

4th graders divide between STEM and language arts creating optimal learning environments for 21st century skills. Both teachers love the arrangement, as do the students!
SPS 8th graders work on Algebra in preparation for next year. Part of our ramped up accelerated math program involves an online option, giving gifted students even more options to fly higher at their own pace.
