7th Grade Field Trip to the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor! Identifying birds, testing water temperatures, and analyzing water and "fishing" for algae and some surface sea creatures. Learning about the importance of the marsh and the role wetlands play here in our South Jersey ecosystem.

Mrs. Hall recognized Bobby for his FORTITUDE - Keeping up with schoolwork even as he’s been selected to play on a national hockey team!
Mrs. Rotondi honored Joey for PRUDENCE for helping a student whose lunch was missing. And Miss Campanell awarded Alana, Aaliyah, and Bella with CHARITY for helping with track items
Ms. Hollinger talked about the Race For Education…only one week left to fundraise! $50 or more and you get a dress down pass….$150 or more and you could win an SPS prize pack…$250 or more and you could win a $100 gift card!

May the 4th Be With You! Fourth grade celebrated Star Wars Day in true Galactic Empire style. Star Wars costumes, snacks, spelling words and even math facts. We even had some special guest students - BB8, Darth Vader, Grogu, and Princess Leia!
Mrs. Hall says, "Fourth grade is hard work so this is a day to have some fun and celebrate all our accomplishments!"

Saints Circles: May is a special month for Mother Mary! We can take inspiration from the first Joyful Mystery of the rosary. How can we say yes to God?
Each group drew a flower, and each of us wrote one way we can say "Yes" to God!

Congratulations to our wonderful choir under the direction of the amazing Mrs. Pearson! Our students sang at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia this past Saturday. It was a beautiful Mass and a special treat for all who were in attendance. We are so proud of our students and grateful for this wonderful opportunity!

Congratulations to Mrs. Roseboro! She was honored on Saturday by Inspiring Life Together. ILF is an organization dedicated to supporting mothers diagnosed with breast cancer and their children during and following treatment.
Mrs. Roseboro was one of 7 mothers selected this year to be honored at the Biannual Pink at Night Gala. She was celebrated for her strength, resilience, and transformation. We are so proud of her!!
