Mrs. Rotondi and Mrs. Hall both honored the cast of Moana for their FORTITUDE....and for a great show!
And Mrs. O'Callaghan also gave Mrs. Pearson an award for FORTITUDE -- for leading a play for grades 3-5! This is something our school has never done before, and Mrs. Pearson and the cast and crew did a wonderful job!
Saints Circles: This week is Thanksgiving! Mrs. O asked each group to draw a tree, with leaves representing what we're Thankful for....here are some of our answers!
- Family
- Pets
- Teachers
- Food & shelter
- Scriptures
- Friends
- Miss M!
- And, of course, Jesus!
And with grateful hearts, we're off to a great (short!) week!

Both levels include playtime and lots of movement in between our lessons, encouraging socialization, working together, sharing, and waiting our turn. Each class also gets instruction in STEM, Technology, Gym, Music, and Spanish once per week.
Half days (mornings) or full days available, 3 or 5 days a week, with before and after school care beginning at 6:30 AM and ending at 6 PM. Come visit us to see how we can help your child excel!

Monday Morning Magic November 11 - Happy Veterans Day! 🎖️ Mrs. Pearson is hosting due to Mrs. O'Callaghan graduating from the Principal's Academy! (Stay tuned for that recap!)
No classes with 💯on-time today 🥺 but 2nd grade wins the Donut Drawing for on-time days last week! (Shout out to 5th grade though; they had an almost-perfect week!)
This week's Virtue Award Highlights: Mrs. Roseboro gave Zac in 5th grade an award for CHARITY for making sure his little sisters had their snacks after school. And his sisters Ava and Noa earned awards too! Ms. Weed recognized Thomas in 2nd grade for FORTITUDE, reading out loud to the whole class for the first time! (And then the whole class applauded, so Ms. Weed asked them to take a bow!) And Dr. Perry gave out his first award, to Mirra & Aubrey for CHARITY for helping organize his classroom. Then Ayvy honored Mrs. Hall for CHARITY to Mrs. Hall for helping her with math!
Veterans Day - we honor the military today, with a prayer from Marcus Luttrell, former Navy SEAL. What can we do to honor our veterans?
- Pray for them
- Send cards and letters (and snacks!)
- Say "Thank You" when you see a veteran or military member in uniform
- Participate in ceremonies to honor them
- Visit Veteran Senior Citizens
Families who use the Hallow App can find the short talk and prayer for veterans here: https://app.hallow.com/prayers/1060608/
And with that, we're off to another great week! (This is a delayed post, so we can report that many classes also made cards to deliver to our veterans yesterday!)

Prek 4 enjoying the day with a fun treat that begins with the letter D. We also made pictures out of different shapes we have learned !

Book Fair Week is the best! 😍We'll see you at Family Night tomorrow. If you're adding funds to eWallet, or sending in cash, don't forget that 6% sales tax! Last day for in-school sales is Friday.
And thank you to all our wonderful parent volunteers! #SouthJerseyCatholicSchools

Monday Morning Magic for November 4, 2024!
Congratulations 8th grade for finally all being on time on a Monday! 🥳 But Kindergarten wins On-Time Donuts this week 🍩 Only one birthday boy (all smiles before and after, but refused to smile for the camera! So he gets an extra-silly edit) 🎂
Virtue Awards this Week: Miss M awards Cameron for PRUDENCE, for always keeping the classroom clean. 🗑️And Mrs. Hall also honored Peyton for PRUDENCE--Peyton had been chosen to help her class lead the Living Rosary last week, but gave up her spot because she had to finish a test.✝️ Mrs. Tell awarded Camila with the virtue of FORTITUDE, for being new to school and working hard to adjust to a new atmosphere and learning system! 💯
Saints Circles: This Sunday's Gospel, from Mark 12:28-34. "Love your neighbor as yourself." It can be easy to love people who you know and who are your friends and family. But how can you love someone you don't know very well?
- Being a positive influence on others
- Sitting with someone who is sitting by themselves
- Forgiving others
- Finding something in common
- Including them in conversations
- Caring about them
- Looking past personal grudges and starting over
- Just saying hello!
- Giving a compliment
- Helping with homework or studying with them
And then it's off to Book Fair Week! Let's Go Saints!

Pre-K had their Halloween parade (and party) this morning! Look at all these cool characters!
#SouthJerseyCatholicSchools #preschool

Happy Halloween to our SPS family! 🎃 🌙🍭 Have fun & be safe!

Fourth grade "Pumpkin Chunkin'"! Build a catapult out of popsicle sticks and apply the principles of motion, levers, and force, and see how far your pumpkin can go! Jack-o-Lanterns not required :) #STEM #SouthJerseyCatholicSchools

Monday Morning Magic for 10/28/24!
Congratulations to our Cross Country team who completed their season this week at the championship meet. Boys' team came in second! And both Girls and Boys' teams both had a number of medal winners and personal best times. Great job, runners! 🏃🏽🏃🏽♂️
We also recognized our school pilgrims. who joined the Diocese of Camden Pilgrimage to the National Cathedral! A few of our students attended, along with Mrs. Marisi, Mrs. O’Callaghan, and Dr. Perry.
🍩6th grade wins donuts--always a bonus when an on-time class picks themselves for attendance!
Pre-K joined us today for birthdays and virtues. Congratulations James and Jack for earning a Virtue Award for their politeness and manners!
Mrs. Rotondi awarded Jaeliana for PRUDENCE, for working hard to get all her assignments in on time. And Miss Campanell awarded Phoebe for her FAITH -- for not only reading at Mass, but also for reminding her class that they were attending Mass to give honor to God 🙏🏼
Saints Circles: Mrs. O'Callaghan offers us a reflection on this Sunday's Gospel. Jesus restored the sight of Bartimaeus, and Bartimaeus was so grateful for this gift, he gave up everything he had and became a disciple of Jesus, sharing the Good News as they traveled to community after community.
What GIFT has Jesus given you that you can use to share the Good News of God? No sharing this time; just a private reflection for yourself. 😇
And then we're dancing off to another week at St. Pete! Let's have a great week Saints!

More SPS representation at the pilgrimage!
