"Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matt. 5:19)

Dear current families, prospective families, and parishioners:

I would like to thank you for taking the time to peruse our website for St. Peter School. SPS is a PreK-8 Catholic elementary school, operated under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden. Our school currently serves approximately 300 students from St. Peter Parish (Merchantville, NJ) and surrounding communities such as Pennsauken, Cherry Hill, Maple Shade, and Cinnaminson.

St. Peter School is a traditional parish school offering an authentic Catholic education for its students that is faithful to the Holy See’s plan for Catholic Schools. We are regarded by the local community for our firm commitment to Catholic identity, competitive academics, and an orderly school environment. Our goal is to form the hearts and minds of our students for Christ, forming students of virtue who can adapt to the demands of the 21st century.

Please take some time and explore the various sections of our web site to gain a greater sense of our mission, curriculum, and overall school culture. Also, please do not hesitate to forward any questions you might have to my email address below.

    In Christ,

Mrs. Kathy O’Callaghan, Principal, St. Peter School
