    2022-2023 Summer Reading List

    Kindergarten Read Alouds:

    The following books are suggestions but not mandatory for Kindergarten for parents to read to/with their children.

    The following books are suggestions. You can read any books you like as long as you are reading. Pick one book that you read this summer and draw a picture of your favorite part. Bring it with you on the first day of school.

    Please read at least 3 books, selecting at least one from List A.  Please choose one book and complete the “Book Report” form.  Also, on a separate sheet of paper, please draw a picture of your favorite part from each book.  Bring the completed book report and pictures back to school on your first day of school. If your child is ready, please feel free to have him or her read a longer chapter book.

    Please read one of the saint books listed, along with The Magician’s Nephew. Please complete the project (instructions attached) after reading The Magician’s Nephew. The project is due on September 9th.
