February 2012 Pre-K 3 Blog
Another new month is already here! We know its winter but it feels more like Spring! We have been going outside to play during these warmer days. Sometimes, the pre-K 4 class joins us, so we have more friends to play with!
We’ve been making Valentines and getting reading to go to the Senior Center for Valentine’s Day. Come and see our art wall with all the hearts and decorations we’ve been busy making.
We’re learning about snowflakes. We did an experiment and “grew” a crystal snowflake in a jar. We also did a sink or float experiment using various small objects in the room.
It’s amazing how much we’ve learned since September! We know our numbers 1-10 and are learning all the letters and their sounds. Alphabet and number bingo are two of our favorite learning games.
Some of us have already learned to recite the Hail Mary all by ourselves. Our parents are very impressed by this! We all know how to bless ourselves and to say grace before we eat.
