Basketball Information at St. Peter’s
Travel Teams Practice is underway at all levels for the 2007-2008 school year for the St. Peter Saints travel teams. The boy’s varsity team has already started playing in tournaments around the area. We are looking forward to some great basketball with: the 4th Grade Juniors, 5th & 6th Grade Junior Varsity and the 7th & 8th Grade Varsity squads. Come on out and support a great program for both home and away games. Keep an eye on this spot for the schedules which should be out and posted soon!

Intramural Program An Intramural Program is available for all students in the 3rd through 8th Grades. Game times are generally reserved for Saturday mornings and early afternoons in January and February. The season culminates in “All-Star Saturday” where all teams participate in a day of games and fun. NOTE: We are always in need of coaching help. Please contact Tom Fisher 486-3820 or Joe Foley 488-8248 if you would be willing to coach.
All Star Basketball Bake Sale On Saturday, February 23, 2008, there will be a bake sale in the gym. We are looking for both donations and purchasers to support our efforts. Donations may be dropped off in the gym throughout the day on the 23rd. Please get creative and bake some goodies—cookies, cakes, brownies and breads—we appreciate any contribution you make. Not the best baker? That’s okay… stop by and purchase one of our delectable items! The fun begins at 10 AM and ends at approximately 8 PM. We will break for the 4 PM Mass. Proceeds benefit the St. Peter’s Basketball program. Thank you in advance for your support.
Clinic St. Peter School offers an Instructional Basketball Clinic for children from Kindergarten through 2nd Grade where they learn the basics of the game at a level that has always been fun for all. Clinic is every Monday and Wednesday 4:30 to 5:30 beginning in December. Registration is $20 and includes a t-shirt and a visit from someone special at Christmastime!
