SPS 5th Graders Create “Faith” Book Pages for their Favorite Saints!

What would St. Patrick’s Facebook page look like if he had one? How about St. Frances Cabrini? Have you ever wondered if there was a saint who shared your last name? SPS students in Mrs. Marisi’s 5th Grade technology class recently created “Faith” Book pages for many of their favorite saints. Their task was to research a saint of their choice and design a page as if they were a particular saint- a wonderful activity that brings faith and technology together in a 21st century learning context! What might their favorite saying be? What kind of pictures would they post? What would their biography look like? I suppose that the Facebook page of a saint would be very different than what we often find on social media today!

Please sample a few of our “Faith” Book pages below:

Here are the Faithbook pages for the saints that the students picked. Most of the saints were chosen because the feast day is on the student’s birthday, but some picked a saint because of the name.
