Dear St. Peter School Community:
We are truly delighted at the success of our Puerto Rico Relief Project, coordinated by one of our 6th grade students, Isabella Magno! A steady stream of nonperishable goods, hygiene products and medical supplies poured into St. Peter School during the past week and a half. Students from all grade levels responded admirably to the need to help our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico who have been ravaged by Hurricane Maria. We are so proud of our students! They are true champions of justice and the corporal works of mercy! Here is the thank you letter from Isabella to the St. Peter School Community:
Dear Families of St. Peter’s, Senior Ministry of St. Peter’s, Families, Friends and neighbors,
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of your generosity, we were able to collect a huge amount of canned goods, toiletries, diapers, wipes, 11 cases of water, detergents etc. I helped my mom box up 19 boxes of various sizes. It was amazing to see all the effort and love that was poured into this project. I am sure that all the people on the receiving end will be very happy. You have shown me exactly what a great world we live in,despite the struggles that we all carry. We can come together as a community and give from our hearts to make a difference in one’s life.
And for that I am eternally grateful and proud to be part of such a loving community.
God bless all of you. This project would not be a success without you.
