A lett from Father Tim
March 16, 2017
As you know, we are in the midst of our House of Charity drive. If we have not yet heard from you, I am making an appeal. I know that everyone is feeling the pinch as they try to make ends meet in this financially uncertain and stressful period.
Perhaps you could assess your situation one more time and see if you could join your fellow parishioners in making a contribution to the House of Charity. Your donation will support the poor, the disabled, the vulnerable and the abandoned, our seminarians and our elderly priests, very worthy causes.
I am sure that you will be blessed by the Good God for your sacrifice. As Jesus Himself said, “Give and it shall be given to you. Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over the fold of your garment. For the measure you measure with will be measured back to you” (Luke 6:38). These blessings will come to you in ways you can neither predict nor imagine.
With immense gratitude and many prayers,
Fr. Timothy E. Byerley
